About the role#
The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team by performing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and conducting accounting research. This role reports to a Senior Accountant and includes active coaching and mentorship from the Senior Director and Assistant Controller. This is a paid, 10-week, full-time internship scheduled from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and record journal entries in the NetSuite ERP system.
- Assist with research, data entry, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement process improvements, new controls, and automation.
- Observe and assist accounting professionals to gain a broad overview of various accounting functions.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting (Junior or Senior credit status).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team.
