About the role#
The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team by completing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and conducting accounting research. This position reports to a Senior Accountant and includes active coaching and mentorship from the Senior Director and Assistant Controller. This is a full-time, paid 10-week internship.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and record journal entries in the NetSuite ERP system.
- Assist with research, data entry, and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Support the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement process improvements, new controls, and automation.
- Observe and assist accounting professionals to gain an overview of various accounting functions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting with Junior or Senior credit status.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with others.

- Compensation: $23 per hour.
