About the role#
The M&A/Corporate Advisory Summer Internship provides an introduction to the commercial real estate industry. You will gain exposure to strategic and capital markets advisory for public and private real estate companies. This program combines hands-on experience with on-the-job training to build foundational skills in real estate and finance. You will work on transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and recapitalizations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training covering commercial real estate fundamentals, corporate finance, financial analysis, and Excel.
- Complete financial modeling, valuation, and practical exercises across various transaction disciplines.
- Analyze company-level financial information, including cash flows, capital structures, and valuation metrics.
- Conduct research on companies, transactions, and markets to support project assignments.
- Prepare and deliver research presentations.
- Collaborate with team members on a capstone project.
- Participate in Q&A sessions and professional development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an anticipated graduation date during the 2027-2028 academic year.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Professional experience through internships, work, or extra-curricular activities.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in a career in investment banking with a focus on commercial real estate.
- Ability to work in a demanding and highly focused environment.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong sense of personal accountability.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 14, 2027, to August 6, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $30/hour.
