About the role#
The Department of Athletics at East Stroudsburg University is hiring a student worker to assist the equipment room staff. You will support daily operations during practices and games to ensure coaches and players have what they need.
What you'll do#
- Manage equipment room tasks, including setting up drills and preparing gear.
- Operate the clock during practice sessions.
- Retrieve balls and other equipment.
- Coordinate apparel and gear for competitions.
- Handle laundry services, cleaning, and basic repairs for protective clothing.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all apparel and equipment.
- Support home and away game day operations as directed by staff.
- Keep the environment organized and safe for the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ESU student in good academic standing for the fall or spring semester.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to solve problems and use sound judgment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- English literacy skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check, including FBI fingerprinting and PA Child Abuse clearance.

- Compensation: $9.00 per hour.
- Status: Part-time, rolling term.
