About the role#
Soccer Shots is looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern to gain hands-on experience in business growth. This hybrid role blends digital marketing, sales, and community outreach with on-field coaching. You will help generate leads, build partnerships, and track marketing results while coaching soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 10 years.
What you'll do#
- Support marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and event channels.
- Engage with prospective customers and follow up on inquiries.
- Conduct market and competitor research to find growth opportunities.
- Manage digital marketing platforms and track campaign results for reporting.
- Pitch new ideas and help turn them into action.
- Coach 5 to 12 soccer sessions per week and substitute as needed.
- Lead structured sessions to create a safe and positive experience for children and families.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week, including Saturdays.
- Reliable transportation.
- Energy, organization, and a strong desire to learn.
- Confidence when communicating with customers, teammates, and partners.
- Comfort leading groups of young children.
- Interest in social media, digital marketing, and business growth.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or internships is a plus.
