About the role#
DS Sports Ventures is looking for a Marketing & Merchandise Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This role supports the President and administration in building marketing plans for youth baseball tournaments across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York. You will gain experience in event operations, merchandise branding, and social media strategy while working in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Help develop business marketing plans for tournaments, showcases, and team scout days.
- Propose and implement marketing strategies, including content planning.
- Create and post new content, such as staff interviews, personal testimonies, and partnership highlights.
- Collaborate with the Event Operations and Digital Content Producer to capture event content.
- Manage all aspects of event merchandising, including inventory, setup, point of sale operations, and apparel design.
- Attend all required Google Meets meetings.
- Post updates to social media platforms during live games.
What you'll need#
- Current studies in Marketing or Business Administration.
- General experience with social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A reliable automobile to travel to various tournament locations.
- Ability to stay overnight in hotels as required by the event schedule.
- Understanding of how to score baseball and softball games.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage your own time.
- A friendly and professional disposition.

- Location: Bellingham, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Commitment: This is a full-time, unpaid internship. You must be available for specific tournament dates between March and June 2027.
