About the role#
DS Sports Ventures is looking for a Marketing & Merchandise Intern for the Summer 2027 season. This role supports the USA Tournament Series by building brand awareness through marketing plans and merchandise management. You will work on projects ranging from website development to apparel design while gaining experience in event operations and administration. This is an unpaid, full-time internship that requires travel to various tournament locations throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement business marketing plans for tournaments, showcases, and team scout days.
- Create new content, including staff interviews and personal testimonies.
- Coordinate with the digital content team to capture material that aligns with marketing strategies.
- Manage all aspects of event merchandise, including inventory, setup, point of sale operations, and apparel design.
- Post content to social media platforms during live games.
- Attend all scheduled Google Meets meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current field of study in Marketing or Business Administration.
- General social media experience and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional disposition.
- Knowledge of how to score baseball and softball games.
- A reliable automobile for travel to tournament sites.
- Availability for the 5th Annual Memorial Day Classic from May 28-31 and five additional assigned events.
- Willingness to stay in hotels overnight as required.

- This role is based in Bellingham, Massachusetts, with a hybrid work arrangement.
- The internship runs from May 21 to August 16, 2027.
- This position is unpaid and does not offer sponsorship.
