About the role#
DS Sports Ventures is looking for a Digital Content Intern to support the USA Tournament Series during the summer of 2027. You will help increase brand awareness through digital video and photo production while traveling to youth baseball tournaments across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut, and New York. This role offers hands-on experience with mirrorless and DSLR cameras, audio and lighting techniques, and the Adobe Creative Suite. You will also learn strategies for growing social media platforms.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Digital Content Producer in covering events including tournaments, showcases, and team scout days.
- Capture action shots, headshots, and team photos.
- Create new video products like personal testimonies and staff interviews.
- Edit short projects for social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Represent the USA Tournament Series in a professional manner at all times.
- Attend all scheduled Google Meets meetings.
- Manage your time effectively throughout the day and post content during live games.
What you'll need#
- Current studies in media, communications, or video production.
- A general understanding of baseball or softball.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A reliable automobile for travel to tournament locations.
- A self-starter mindset with a friendly and professional disposition.
- Willingness to stay overnight in hotels as required.

- Location: Hartford, Connecticut (with travel to event sites).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 21 to August 16).
- Modality: Hybrid.
- This is an unpaid, full-time internship.
- You must be available for the Memorial Day Classic from May 28 to May 31.
