Finance Intern (Unpaid for Course Credit Only)

About the role#

Dreamscape Learn is offering a Finance Internship designed for students seeking academic credit. This role provides hands-on experience in corporate finance and accounting practices under the supervision of senior staff. Please note that this is an unpaid educational opportunity intended for course credit only.

What you'll do#

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Conduct data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial data in accounting software.
• Help with bank statement reconciliations.
• Support the team with ad hoc projects and analysis.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles, such as debits, credits, and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• The role is based out of Culver City, California.
