About the role#
DMR Technologies is looking for an Electrical Hardware Engineering Intern to help build electronics for American-made drones. You will work in Lafayette, LA, alongside electrical and firmware engineers to assist with the development of flight control systems.
What you'll do#
- Design printed circuit boards.
- Test hardware components.
- Assemble prototypes and wire harnesses.
- Support manufacturing processes.
- Maintain technical documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and attention to detail.
- Exposure to PCB design.
- A willingness to learn.
- Experience with Altium and KiCad is helpful.
- Skills in soldering and using an oscilloscope are preferred.
- Experience with robotics or drones is a plus.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Lafayette, Louisiana.
- The internship term is rolling.
