About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the auditing profession. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain real-world experience and insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of an auditor. Throughout the program, you will receive guidance from a coach, participate in networking activities, and receive feedback on your performance.
What you'll do#
- Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Perform audit procedures over key financial statement accounts, transactions, and disclosures.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting.
- Analyze financial information and supporting documentation to identify risks, trends, and potential issues.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized audit documentation.
- Collaborate with client personnel and engagement teams to gather information and support audit execution.
- Use technology and data analytics to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- Definitive plans to meet the minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2028.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You can expect to co-locate on average 3 times a week, with potential for up to 50% travel based on client needs.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: The hourly wage range is $28.23 to $56.67, depending on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
