Performance Marketing - Fall 2026 Co-op Student

About the role#

Join the Performance Marketing team at Definity for a 4-month Fall 2026 co-op term. You will gain hands-on experience working with Sonnet Insurance and Petline Insurance, contributing to the day-to-day operations of marketing campaigns and customer acquisition strategies.

What you'll do#

• Help run live marketing campaigns across Google, social media, and programmatic channels.
• Support media planning by gathering data, reviewing past performance, and shaping future recommendations.
• Monitor performance dashboards to identify wins and issues.
• Support A/B testing initiatives to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging marketing channels.
• Review ads and creative assets for accuracy prior to launch.
• Assist with team presentations, project trackers, and general team projects.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in a co-op program for Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A background in creative writing or English, combined with experience using AI and technology.
• Curiosity about digital marketing and an interest in working with data.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (experience with dashboards is considered a bonus).
• An eager attitude and willingness to ask questions.

• Compensation: Starts at $22.50 per hour, with potential for increases based on skills, education, and experience.
