About the role#
Join the Digital Contact Centre as a co-op student to support the Personal Insurance team. This role focuses on delivering a digital-first insurance experience by assisting with customer inquiries, processing policy changes, and contributing to operational efficiency. You will gain hands-on experience in a tech-enabled insurance environment while developing customer service and analytical skills.
What you'll do#
- Respond to client and internal inquiries via email, case systems, and digital platforms.
- Process policy-related requests including updates, cancellations, endorsements, and documentation.
- Utilize platforms such as Guidewire and internal case management tools to manage and route requests.
- Perform basic underwriting checks for simple policy scenarios.
- Identify workflow improvements and share feedback to support operational excellence.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree or college diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new systems like Guidewire.
- Excellent customer service mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for a professional environment.
- Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Progress toward or completion of a CIP designation is considered an asset.
