About the role#
This paid, full-time internship offers a 9-week immersive experience within the Women’s Product Development team. You will work closely with project managers to learn about the operational challenges of jewelry production and help brainstorm solutions. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the processes behind luxury jewelry and manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team with new market vendor project kits, including CAD posting requests and creating mechanicals.
- Manage administrative tasks such as releasing purchase orders and handling PLM vendor assignments.
- Conduct research on industry standards, including earring fits and tennis bracelet sizing.
- Upload and input quality assurance testing results into the PLM system.
- Create mechanicals for existing components for internal and external use.
- Review new market samples with project managers to identify feedback for the design team.
- Attend daily design meetings to expand your knowledge of jewelry and manufacturing.
- Contribute to ASR projects focused on second-sourcing key styles.
- Partner with the Merchandising Vault and Ecommerce teams to assist with product verification.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program, such as Business Administration or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to work across different teams.
- A curious mindset and a willingness to learn about product development processes.
- Readiness to contribute to the team in any capacity needed.
