About the role#
Dark Wolf Solutions is hiring interns for the summer of 2027 to work from our office in Colorado Springs. You will join an Agile squad and contribute to production-level code. This program offers hands-on experience across software development, cloud delivery, data and AI, and cybersecurity. You will participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to see the full software development life cycle.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test software features using Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Deploy applications to cloud environments and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for analysis and model training.
- Integrate Generative AI and LLMs into existing technical workflows.
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities through an adversarial perspective.
- Architect and secure cloud environments while working with authorization packages.
- Build and extend the Secure Cloud Landing Zone codebase.
- Develop zero trust cloud-native applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Foundational knowledge in at least one major programming language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to team members.
- Willingness to learn and apply new knowledge.
- A basic understanding of how cybersecurity protects systems and data.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases is preferred.
- Exposure to AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain is preferred.
- Previous project work involving cloud-native architecture is a plus.
