About the role#
Dark Wolf Solutions is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides hands-on experience across software development, data and AI, cybersecurity, and cloud engineering. You will work within an Agile squad, contributing to production-level code and collaborating with professionals on real-world projects. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Omaha, Nebraska.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test software features using languages like Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for analysis and model training.
- Integrate Generative AI and LLMs into existing workflows.
- Assist in deploying applications to cloud environments and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Identify and exploit critical vulnerabilities through offensive security exercises.
- Architect and secure cloud environments while developing authorization packages.
- Build and extend the Secure Cloud Landing Zone codebase on Google Cloud.
- Analyze the impact of emerging technologies on cyber engineering.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or Computer Engineering at the University of Florida.
- Foundational knowledge in at least one major programming language.
- Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain.
- Previous project work involving cloud-native architecture.
