    About the role#

    The Leadership and Organizational Development Intern supports internal training, leadership programs, and organizational development initiatives. You will gain practical experience by developing learning content, coordinating training logistics, and maintaining records. This role works closely with our team to support employee growth and organizational capability.

    What you'll do#

    • Coordinate training logistics, including schedules, communications, materials, attendance, and evaluations.
    • Assist with the administration of leadership programs, including tracking participants and preparing summary reports.
    • Maintain program resources, templates, and project data within SharePoint.
    • Create or revise learning content using instructional design principles and established templates.
    • Use learning tools such as Microsoft 365, iSpring, Synthesia, and Workday Learning.
    • Manage course offerings and learner communications in Workday Learning.
    • Prepare materials for facilitators and participants, such as presentations, handouts, and training supplies.
    • Respond to routine employee questions regarding learning resources and course access.
    • Research learning and development topics to support ongoing projects.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or technical college.
    • Pursuing a degree in instructional design, education, adult learning, human resources, organizational development, business, psychology, communications, educational technology, or a related field.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to accurate recordkeeping.
    • Ability to organize schedules, electronic files, and project tasks.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Willingness to learn new systems like Workday Learning, SharePoint, Synthesia, and iSpring.
    • Ability to create clear, professional, and visually consistent materials.
    • Ability to interact professionally with employees, leaders, and subject matter experts.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • A dependable, curious, and organized approach to work.

    • This is an on-site position based in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
    • The role is part-time.
    • This is a paid internship.
