About the role#
We are hiring a Geology Intern to support our field and office operations. This role focuses on data collection, core processing, and geological mapping. You will work under close supervision and contribute to our ongoing mining projects. This is a full-time, paid position based in Montreal.
What you'll do#
- Prioritize safety by participating in daily tailgate meetings and identifying site risks.
- Assist geologists with geochemical and geophysical survey activities.
- Manage core processing tasks, including geotechnical logging, photography, density measurements, core cutting, and sample shipment.
- Support geological mapping and field surveys.
- Collect and analyze rock samples while maintaining data quality according to company standards.
- Organize and compile field data for project reports.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of a 4-year degree in geosciences or engineering.
- No prior work experience is required.
- Valid standard first aid and CPR level C certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and geological software such as ArcGIS, 3D modeling tools, and statistical applications.
- Commitment to following the company Health, Safety, and Environment Plan.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Physical Requirements: The role involves working in rugged terrain and difficult weather. Core processing requires lifting up to 60 pounds (27 kg) and maintaining focus under pressure.
