About the role#
This is a paid, 10-week summer internship for students interested in a career in retail store management. You will work 35 hours per week on-site, gaining hands-on experience by leading a retail team and engaging directly with customers. You will work alongside store managers and district leaders to learn management best practices and store operations.
What you'll do#
- Lead a retail team and interact with customers.
- Develop leadership skills and learn how to motivate a store team.
- Analyze business performance and learn how operational decisions affect store results.
- Complete a business-focused project that addresses a real business opportunity and present your findings to leadership.
- Support daily operations, including merchandise handling, inventory management, and stocking.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Business Administration or Marketing.
- Expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program, including evenings and weekends.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in retail store management.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- Positions are available in Raleigh, Sanford, Clayton, Lillington, Smithfield, and Durham, North Carolina.
