About the role#
This paid, 10-week summer internship offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in retail management. You will work directly with Store Managers and District Leaders to learn the day-to-day operations of a retail store. The program focuses on leadership development, store performance, and customer engagement. You will also complete a business-focused project that addresses a real opportunity and present your findings to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Lead a retail team and engage directly with customers.
- Learn retail management practices, including staffing and talent development.
- Support operational tasks such as inventory management, stocking, and merchandise handling.
- Analyze business performance and understand how strategic decisions impact store results.
- Complete and present a business project to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience.
- Availability to work 35 hours per week for the full 10-week program.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in retail store management.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations include Indianapolis and Fishers, Indiana.
