About the role#
This internship is a 10.5-week full-time program. You will act as an internal consultant within our Retail Operations team. Our group focuses on strategy for the front store, pharmacy, and overall customer experience. You will work to improve how we deliver care to patients.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with store teams to implement systems that help colleagues care for customers.
- Launch new services through internal teamwork and external partnerships.
- Use data and research to design workflow enhancements that remove barriers to healthcare.
- Analyze data to find anomalies, such as in drug prescribing patterns.
- Review existing processes to identify colleague pain points and build strategies to solve them.
- Participate in professional development workshops, community service, and networking events.
- Interact with senior leaders and contribute to business projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MBA, MPH, MHA, MSBA, or related master's degree with an anticipated graduation between September 2027 and August 2028.
- 2+ years of professional work experience in a related field like consulting, healthcare, or operations.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
- Experience applying AI-enabled tools to support business goals.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through school, work, or social organizations.
- An analytical mindset and a curious approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate with an executive audience.
- Willingness to commute or relocate to the Woonsocket, RI office.
Location & details#
- Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 to August 4).
- Compensation: $55 per hour.
- Note: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
