About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will transition from didactic learning to real-world practice. This role is designed to prepare you for a future Pharmacist position through hands-on experience and a comprehensive training roadmap. You will work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader to refine your clinical and operational skills.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation.
- Support pharmacy operations by following standard procedures at every workstation, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Assist the pharmacy team in ensuring prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
- Provide patient care by offering to counsel, fielding medical questions, and taking telephonic prescriptions under supervision.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences through empathetic service and by offering health services like immunizations.
- Perform inventory tasks such as processing medication deliveries, cycle counts, and returns.
- Coach and mentor pharmacy team members as your experience grows.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies regarding patient safety and privacy.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
- 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to become immunization certified.
- Flexibility to work in your home store and travel to other locations across the market.

- This is an on-site, part-time position based in Louisiana.
- The role is paid and follows a rolling term.
