About the role#
As a Graduate Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy education to real-world practice. You will work under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader to prepare for a future Pharmacist role. This program focuses on store, district, and regional operations, helping you build skills in patient safety, quality assurance, and pharmacy professional standards.
What you'll do#
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation.
- Support the pharmacy team in filling prescriptions accurately and safely.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as cycle counts and processing medication deliveries.
- Support immunizations by educating patients, obtaining informed consent, and documenting information.
- Follow company procedures at all workstations, including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
What you'll need#
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
- Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure.
- Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and remain mobile for extended periods.
