About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a preceptor to provide patient care and support pharmacy operations. This role focuses on developing your professional skills while ensuring patients receive quality service in a community healthcare setting.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the prescription filling process and provide patient counseling.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.
- Assist patients and front store customers with questions.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrate empathy for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Identify business opportunities and support team solutions to improve performance.
- Stay current on new developments, training, and pharmacy initiatives.
- Contribute to a team culture focused on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of employment.
- You must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

- This position is located in Los Angeles, California.
- This is a part-time, on-site role.
- Employment is paid and open to current students.
