About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting. You help ensure a safe environment while delivering care to patients. This role involves supporting daily operations, including inventory and workflow management, while gaining professional experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Support patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver care to patients, customers, and caregivers with empathy.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Collaborate with your pharmacy team to improve health outcomes.
- Foster a team culture built on energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform precise physical tasks like scanning and bagging items.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
