About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will help ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while delivering care to patients. This role focuses on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
What you'll do#
- Model company values and demonstrate care for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Support the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Zero to three years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Visual acuity for reading terminals and small parts.
