About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and helping customers on their path to better health. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Gibbsboro, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and maintain high standards of pharmacy professional practice.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
- Provide exceptional customer service while displaying empathy for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver positive outcomes and promote a culture of energy and pride.
- Complete required training and additional tasks as directed by your manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, stoop, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
- Capacity to lift, scan, and bag items, including occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Close visual acuity for reading, transcribing, and inspecting small parts.
