About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will gain professional experience while focusing on patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management. This position is part-time and offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care programs.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with managing patient care programs.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Promote a team culture centered on caring and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
