About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, effective environment while delivering care to patients. This position involves managing patient care programs and contributing to daily pharmacy workflows.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment in the pharmacy.
- Manage patient care programs to support health outcomes.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Build a team culture that promotes energy and care.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting, scanning, and bagging items.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
