About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. This role focuses on delivering care to patients, managing pharmacy workflows, and ensuring a safe environment. You will gain professional experience while contributing to the daily health needs of our community.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy operations including inventory management, quality assurance, and workflow coordination.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to help customers maintain their health.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Foster a positive team culture that values energy and collaboration.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state requirements.
- Model company values and help align the team around our purpose.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, stoop, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Immunization eligibility.
