About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. This role focuses on patient care, safety, and pharmacy practice. You will assist in managing patient care programs and help maintain a productive, positive team environment.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment while delivering care to patients.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Support regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to improve outcomes and promote a culture of energy and pride.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by your supervisor or manager.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and stooping.
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and transcribing.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
