About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering care to patients while learning about pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, and inventory management. This role focuses on helping patients manage chronic conditions and supporting the pharmacy team in maintaining a safe, effective environment.

- Ensure a safe and effective work environment while delivering care to each patient.
- Support patient safety, quality assurance, and workflow management.
- Manage patient care programs to help keep customers and patients healthy.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with the team to find new ways to grow and improve outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
