About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will gain professional experience while helping patients manage their health and medication needs. This is a part-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Provide care to patients and assist with customer service.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients and team members.
- Foster a positive team culture.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Zero to three years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
