About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a retail setting. You will play a part in delivering care to patients while gaining professional experience. This role involves managing patient care programs, maintaining a safe pharmacy environment, and supporting the team in daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with managing patient care programs.
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to improve outcomes and support company goals.
- Facilitate a positive team culture.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform tasks such as inventory management, workflow management, and customer service.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.

- Pay: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
