About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will focus on patient care, safety, and maintaining a professional environment. This role is a part-time, paid position that offers the chance to gain professional experience while completing your pharmacy education.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care programs and provide support to customers and caregivers.
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment by following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Lead with empathy and help foster a team culture centered on caring and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve patient outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends with regular, predictable attendance.
- Physical ability to remain upright for long periods, lift items, reach overhead, and stoop.
- Close visual acuity for tasks like reading and computer work.
- Ability to orally communicate instructions clearly to customers and colleagues.
- Completion of all state-required training.
