About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment while delivering care to patients. This role involves managing patient care programs, supporting inventory and workflow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also help foster a team culture focused on patient health and service.

- Provide exceptional care to patients and assist with their health needs.
- Adopt and manage various patient care programs.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver better health outcomes.

- Administer patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Lead with empathy for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, stoop, and use finger dexterity for precise tasks.
- Close visual acuity for reading and inspecting small parts.
- Ability to orally communicate instructions to customers and colleagues.
