About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This part-time role focuses on delivering quality care and assisting with daily operations while you gain professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and follow pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Support quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Foster a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and stooping.
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and computer work.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
