About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, managing pharmacy workflows, and ensuring professional practice standards are met.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional patient care and manage patient care programs.
- Maintain pharmacy safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance standards.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and daily workflow.
- Provide customer service to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Lead with empathy and compassion while collaborating with your team.
- Align your team around our health purpose and help foster a positive culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and stooping.
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
- Visual acuity for transcribing and computer use.
