About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will bridge the gap between your pharmacy school education and real-world practice. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to build your clinical and technical skills. Working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, you will gain hands-on experience with store, district, and regional operations to prepare for future pharmacist responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Complete a training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences.
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled accurately.
- Maintain workflow procedures for production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off stations.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Support immunizations by educating patients, documenting information, and assisting with administration where permitted by law.
- Manage basic inventory tasks, such as cycle counts and putting away medication deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required by business needs.
- Ability to remain mobile for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
