About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will play a role in maintaining a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while delivering care to patients. This position involves managing patient care programs and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and help them manage chronic or specialty conditions.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Support a team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with others to improve health outcomes.
- Complete tasks as directed by your supervisor or manager.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision control.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility.
