About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. This role focuses on patient care, safety, and operational efficiency. You will assist in managing pharmacy workflows, inventory, and patient care programs while gaining hands-on experience in a professional health care setting.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment by following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Manage pharmacy workflows, excluding final prescription verification.
- Support patient care programs and provide immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Assist with inventory management and daily customer service tasks.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a positive and professional culture.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and manager instructions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and stooping.
- Visual acuity for tasks such as reading and transcribing.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
