About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will help ensure a safe environment while delivering care to patients. This role is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and assist with customer service.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, and quality assurance tasks.
- Support patient safety and follow regulatory requirements.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Provide immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Lead with empathy and collaborate with your team to maintain a positive culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immunization eligibility are preferred.
