About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will focus on patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance while gaining professional experience in a clinical setting. This is a part-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a safe and effective work environment by following pharmacy practice and quality assurance standards.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Promote a positive team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Handle tasks such as inventory management, workflow support, and customer service.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.

- Location: East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with a pay range of $20.50 to $42.00 per hour.
