About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work within the pharmacy team to deliver patient care and support our daily operations. You will operate under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective environment. This role is part-time and offers the opportunity to gain professional experience while supporting patient health.
What you'll do#
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with your team to improve outcomes and support company goals.
- Foster a culture of energy, caring, and pride within the pharmacy.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Assist with inventory, workflow management, and quality assurance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach overhead, lift items, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
- Preferred: Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
