About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the pharmacy team. You focus on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance within a retail environment. This role involves managing pharmacy workflows, inventory, and patient care programs to help customers manage their health.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to patients and customers.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and daily workflow tasks.
- Support the adoption of patient care programs.
- Model empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture centered on energy and pride.
- Administer patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as part of a regular schedule.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity, reaching, and bending.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
Location & details#
- This position is located in West Caldwell, New Jersey.
- The role is part-time and on-site.
- Pay range is $20.00 to $23.75 per hour.
