About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You help ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while gaining professional experience. This position focuses on patient care, regulatory compliance, and supporting the daily operations of the pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients while modeling company values.
- Manage patient care programs and support pharmacy workflow.
- Handle inventory management and quality assurance tasks.
- Maintain a safe pharmacy environment and follow all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver outcomes and promote a positive culture.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Immunization eligibility.
