About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a preceptor to gain professional experience. This role focuses on delivering patient care and supporting pharmacy operations. You will participate in the ExperienceRx program to develop your skills in a community healthcare setting.
What you'll do#
- Handle all aspects of the prescription filling process.
- Provide patient counseling and answer questions for pharmacy and front store customers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations.
- Maintain pharmacy professional practice and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory and ensure patient safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern License in the state of employment.
- You must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

- The role is on-site and part-time.
