About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and contributing to a positive team culture.
What you'll do#
- Deliver exceptional care to patients and assist in managing patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve better health outcomes.
- Foster a work environment that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations and requirements are met.
- Support daily pharmacy tasks including inventory management, workflow organization, and quality assurance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 20 lbs, and reaching or stooping to move items.
- Completion of all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Tennessee.
- This is a part-time, on-site role.
- The position is paid, with a pay range of $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
