About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will deliver care to patients, support pharmacy professional practice, and assist with daily operations. This role focuses on patient safety, quality assurance, and managing patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment while delivering quality patient care.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflows, excluding final prescription verification.
- Monitor patient safety and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
- Provide customer service and display empathy toward patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and energetic work culture.
- Administer patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks involving reaching, stooping, and finger dexterity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immunization eligibility are preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
