About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering care to patients while modeling company values. This part-time role focuses on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and effective workflow management.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment through quality assurance and inventory management.
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to support customer health.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Facilitate a positive team culture that values energy and collaboration.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations and eligibility requirements.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines and designated timeframes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision control.
