About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You play a part in ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients. This role focuses on delivering quality care while you gain professional experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow.
- Support patient care programs and help customers with their health needs.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy and care.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver positive health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and reaching.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
